Open Edit image. In Describe the change, say what to change and where it is on the garment. Generate a preview and check it before you click Apply. To go back, open History, choose an earlier version, and apply it.

- Open the tech pack with the flat sketch you want to change.
- Know which detail you want to change and where it is on the garment.
How to do it
Open Edit image
Go to Edit image for your flat sketch. Find Describe the change.
Describe the change
Say what to do, which detail to change, and where it is. For example, “Remove the ruching on the right side.” Keep it short and specific.
Check the preview
Generate the image. Check that the preview shows the change you wanted.
Apply the edit
Click Apply when you are happy with the preview. Then check the sketch in your tech pack.
Go back to an earlier version
Open History to see the versions. Choose an earlier version and apply it if you want to go back.
An example
Remove a construction detail
“Remove the ruching on the right side.” This says what to do, which detail to change, and where it is.
Things to check
- Be specific. Instead of “change the dress,” name the detail and where it is.
- Check the preview before you click Apply.
- Check any tech pack details affected by the sketch change. Your team still needs to check construction and fit.

We’ll discuss how to write a prompt for flat sketch construction. When changing a garment, use clear garment terms and be specific about where the change should be. Here we have a mini dress. Go down to Edit image and click it. In Describe the change, enter the changes you want. Here the prompt is “Remove the ruching on the right side.” Type it, then generate the image. What you describe is important. You do not need a long prompt; keep it short and detailed, using the right terms for what needs to change. Review the generated image, then click Apply. The edit appears in the tech pack. If you want to go back to the previous artwork, go to History. It shows the versions. Here there are Version 1 and Version 2, and we are using Version 2. To return to the previous artwork, click Version 1 and apply it. It takes time, then the previous artwork appears.
